Why Los Cristianos is such a popular Tenerife resort

Los Cristianos is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Tenerife in the Canary Islands. It has the sunshine, the beaches, the bars and just about everything that holiday-makers are looking for, so this is perhaps not surprising.

Los Cristianos was originally a fishing village that back in the 1960s swiftly developed into a busy town when the sun-seekers descended on it. Los Cristianos has kept on developing ever since and its harbour made it the obvious place for ferries to depart to La Gomera from.
